Coach Ken brings a wealth of basketball experience, coaching expertise, and academic excellence to the program. With one year coaching at the high school Junior Varsity level and entering his fourth year coaching Varsity basketball, he is dedicated to developing student-athletes who excel on the court, in the classroom, and in life.
As a player, Coach Ken competed as a three-year varsity athlete and established himself as a dynamic point guard with strong leadership and scoring ability. During his junior year at Ribet Academy, he averaged 8.7 points per game before delivering a breakout senior season at San Fernando High School, where he averaged 20.7 points and 5 assists per game. He ranked #24 in the state of California for assists per game, #9 in scoring in the Los Angeles City Section, and #5 in three-pointers made. Coach Ken’s leadership helped guide his team to the City Section Finals, earning All-League and All-City honors along the way. He also maintained consistent academic achievement, earning Academic Honor Roll recognition all four years of high school.
Coach Ken continued his basketball career at the collegiate level, playing two years of college basketball while earning All-Academic First Team honors. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for coaching and player development.
He began training young athletes during his freshman year of college, hosting skill development clinics and private training sessions in the Santa Barbara area alongside his brother, and has since worked extensively with players throughout the San Fernando Valley.
Coach Ken has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and is recognized as an experienced skills development coach with a focus on fundamentals, leadership, and basketball IQ. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and accountability, with a strong commitment to preparing student-athletes for long-term success both on and off the court.
Coach Koby brings an elite combination of high-level playing experience, proven coaching leadership, and academic excellence to the program. With four years of high school basketball coaching experience, including one year as a Junior Varsity head coach, he is committed to developing student-athletes who excel both on and off the court.
As a player, Coach Koby competed as a four-year varsity athlete and established himself as one of the top guards in the Los Angeles City Section. During his junior year at Ribet Academy, he averaged 13.7 points per game before delivering a breakout senior season at San Fernando High School. He averaged 22.2 points and 5 assists per game, ranking among the city’s leaders in scoring, assists, field goals made, and three-point field goals. He finished ranked #6 in points per game, #10 in field goals made, #4 in three-pointers made, and #5 in assists per game in the Los Angeles City Section, while helping lead his team to the City Section Finals. His performance earned him All-League and All-City honors.
Coach Koby continued his basketball career at the collegiate level, playing two years of college basketball while earning All-Academic honors. A four-year Academic Honor Roll student in high school, he has consistently demonstrated that academic excellence and athletic achievement go hand in hand.
Following his playing career, Coach Koby transitioned into coaching and player development, accumulating four years of high school basketball coaching experience, including one year at the Junior Varsity level. He began training athletes during his
freshman year of college, hosting skill development clinics and private training sessions, and has since worked extensively with players throughout the San Fernando Valley.
